It was a project done of DEME (MEDCO) for Suez Canal work.
Work involved the drydocking of vessel and construction / installation of Ø900, 25 thick piping system, loading arm system (P&S). Also the vessel forward section was converted to a floating workshop with 6 welding bays for the cutter assembly refurbishment. The barge is also equipped with electric system, (500kva genset – 2 nos.) and accommodation units for the operations / workers on-board.
The project was completed in a period of 44 days in 2014
